Overview

The Project Management team at Oxford Policy Management is currently seeking two Project Finance Managers on a 6 month fixed-term basis. 

 

The position will be located in our Islamabad, Pakistan office.

Position Summary

The Project Finance Manager's objectives are to work closely with the Project manager across a suite of projects, ensuiring that all project financial controls and deliverables are maintained in an accurate and timely manner in line with client and contractual obligations

 

As A Project Finance Manager at OPM, you will be responsible for:

 

  • Updating the central MS Dynamics ERP system with project financial data such as contracted values, billing schedules, cost forecast, contracted values, project resource allocations, basic project data (e.g. start / end dates etc.).
  • Running reports showing detailed actuals transaction data for use in governance.
  • Running reports and assisting the Project Manager with financial input into project governance processes, both internally for OPM stakeholders as well as external / client stakeholders.
  • Inputting into month cost accrual process.
  • Running and reviewing monthly variance / actuals report and requesting corrections / journals as required.
  • Owning and maintaining the project forecast.
  • Generating client invoices, and raising these on the MS Dynamics ERP system.

Key Qualifications / Experience / Skills / Behaviours

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working on complex projects within a consultancy environment
  • Strong demonstrable experience of controlling project finances including forecasting, client billing and actuals reconciliation.
  • High degree of familiarity with MS Dynamics F&O.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a highly pressured environment.
  • Ability to communicate and challenge at a range of levels across the organisation.
  • Ability to own and manage your workload, and work independently to set outcomes with minimal direct supervision.
  • Ability to prioritise across conflicting demands, and tolerate ambiguity.
